About a month ago gas was about $2.05 per gallon.
as of today (5/15/19) it had jumped up to $2.28 a gallon.
Thats about a 12% increase. WOW!
I remember how high gas prices were a year ago.
Gas prices have generally been on an upward trajectory since early December,
when the national average hovered above $1.60 a gallon.
But prices are still well below last year's all-time high of $4.114 a gallon.
I Really don't think we need to see that again....
The increase tracks what's happening across the country, in part because of rising oil prices,
the switch to summer-blend gasoline and stations raising prices before the Memorial Day weekend, AAA spokesman Dan Ronan said.
